Every day I talk with our neighbors at their front doors, in their front yards, in living rooms, at parks – even in the line at Vons.
In all those conversations, I realize how lucky we are to live where we do.
We look out for each other, we’re concerned about the direction of San Diego, and we’re willing to do what it takes to make a better future for our families.
That’s why I’m running for San Diego City Council. Not to look out for Downtown special interests, but to represent you, your family, and all of our District 6 neighborhoods. That’s also why community members like you are donating, volunteering, putting up yard signs, and supporting our grassroots effort for City Council.
With ballots going out for the general election in a matter of days, we need you more than ever to make Neighborhoods First a reality!
And we’d like to invite you to a fundraiser that Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer and former San Diego City Council President Sherri Lightner are hosting for our campaign next Saturday, Oct. 8th, at 5 p.m.
If you can’t make it, donate to our campaign today. Every dollar we raise helps us buy more signs, send more mail, and gets the word out about our Neighborhoods First effort.
We’re also out every day talking with neighbors at their front door, making calls, and texting. We would love to have you join us!
And we’ll see you at our booth Saturday at the Mira Mesa Street Fair along Camino Ruiz between Mira Mesa Blvd. and New Salem Street. Come by and say hi!
P.S. – If you need a new or replacement Tommy Hough yard sign, we’ve got plenty! Send us an e-mail with your name and address and we’ll get one to you within a day. As the grassroots campaign in the District 6 race, visibility is critical.
