Environmental Democrats District 6 Forum

Dial in and support Tommy at the first District 6 forum of the campaign season as San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action, the only chartered environmental affinity club in the San Diego County Democratic Party, hosts a District 6 forum this Wednesday, Nov. 17th, at 6:30 p.m. Check in will begin at 6:15 p.m.

Join Tommy as he talks about his environmental concerns and vision on topics like climate action, habitat conservation and protection, transit and transportation, environmental justice, natural resources, animal welfare, and more.

Chartered by the county party in Aug. 2014, the aim of the Environmental Democrats has been to bring environmental issues to the forefront for Democratic lawmakers and candidates in the San Diego region, foster greater adherence to the California Democratic Party’s environmental platform, contribute to local party leadership and responsibility, provide a constructive role for volunteers in Democratic politics, promote an activist base, and enable Democratic candidates to run – and win – on environmental principles.

The club also seeks to hold Democratic lawmakers and candidates accountable in pursuing tangible and needed environmental policy at the local, state, and federal level.
