Canvass and Cake in Mira Mesa

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too – and honestly, that’s proven to be a pretty durable adage.
But you can come out and walk for Tommy during our neighborhood canvass this weekend in Mira Mesa, and then join us for birthday cake after you’ve knocked on doors and spoken with neighbors about electing Tommy to San Diego City Council.
Join us this Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Mesa Verde Neighborhood Park, located at 8530 Gold Coast Dr. in Mira Mesa, just east of Camino Ruiz and west of Mason Elementary School. Park along Gold Coast Drive, and find us near the shady trees on the east side of the park opposite from the playground.
Be sure to arrive with a fully charged phone, water, sunscreen, and hat. If you have a favorite canvassing clipboard or pen, bring it! We’ll show you what you to do, and pair campaign veterans with newbies as best we can.
After a few hours, we’ll meet back at Mesa Verde Park for a fresh Tommy birthday cake. Can we count on you to join us?
