At recent forums hosted by the University City Community Association, Mira Mesa Town Council, and the San Diego Union-Tribune, Tommy made it clear he opposed the rezoning of south University City, and would defend the area’s single-family zoning while pursuing sensible, transit-centered and affordable housing options in Kearny Mesa and Miramar. Even as the city has backed off the rezoning proposal, Tommy stands by his pledges, and looks forward to speaking with you more about it today.
