It’s no secret, our city is in trouble. With rising energy rates, streets in bad shape, the skyrocketing cost of living, and what looks like a very hot and expensive summer in front of us, we need REAL leadership at City Hall.
But what we get are experimental bike lanes, wacky attempts at rezoning, and streets that remain open wounds to all who drive on them.
I’m running to make Neighborhoods First. I believe the neighbors who live in our District 6 communities are the best qualified to make decisions about them, not Downtown establishment types.
Let’s be clear — our campaign is not funded by the powers that be. We’re funded by you.
It’s an old saying, but it takes a lot of money to run for office, and when you consider the decisions being made and the money at stake, plenty of wealthy interest groups don’t want a neighborhood-driven councilmember like me in the District 6 seat at City Hall.
Our showing in the primary shows we can fight to a draw, even after being massively outspent. With your help funding our effort, we can win and bring your voice to City Hall, where it belongs!
In six days, we’re required by law to report how much we raised this quarter. I would love to add your name to the list of neighbors who are DONE with business as usual and want to be heard!
When I’m at City Hall I will have your back. But first, we have to beat back the Downtown establishment supporting my opponent, and flip our D6 seat blue. Let’s elect a neighbor to San Diego City Council who will represent us — not special interests.
I will push back against money-wasting scandals like 101 Ash Street and the secretive realignment of Gold Coast Drive — which our campaign stood against while my opponent remained silent. With your help, we can WIN.
Thank you for your generosity, your kind words, and your support. Now let’s win this for our District 6 community. Make your contributions count over the next four months by becoming a monthly contributor! Choose the monthly option at our campaign’s ActBlue page.
And if you have a yard sign, please keep it out. We’re only four months away from the general election and the continued exposure is critical. Many thanks.
