Mira Mesa Community Canvass with the San Diego Environmental Democrats

Join San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action as the club walks in support of our campaign for San Diego City Council in District 6 in Mira Mesa on Sunday, Feb. 20th, at 9 a.m.
As the co-founder and first president of the San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action, I’m honored to have been chosen by the club’s membership as the endorsed candidate in the District 6 race by a margin of 85 percent, and I’m running to ensure, in part, the sanctity of our city’s open space, nature preserves, Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) lands, and the preservation of the Carroll Creek wetlands and Miramar-to-Sorrento Mesa wildlife corridor.
In addition to support of climate stabilization, renewable energy, stormwater capture and reuse, and diversifying our city’s water supply, we’ll be talking with neighbors about infrastructure, housing, and transit.
Join us at the “leaning tree” on the south end of Mesa Verde Neighborhood Park at 8350 Gold Coast Dr., San Diego CA 92126. Street parking is available. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.
